Pupil premium is the title for additional funding allocated to schools to support raising attainment for specific groups of children. These groups include children who are in receipt of free school meals or who have done so in the last six years; children who have a parent in the armed forces; and children who are in care.

St Michael’s Federation considers carefully how it uses this funding to support our pupils. This is decided based on the needs of the children and how we feel we can support them to grow to be the best they can be in line with our vision. As an inclusive school, we often spend far more on vulnerable children then our designated funding. Our pupil premium strategy, for each individual school is linked below.
